Evangelism Class at Jesse Remington High School Brings the Gospel in to Boston!

Jesse Remington High School recently offered Evangelism Class as an elective class for our students to take.  We had Mark Sohmer (Missionary with Open Air Campaigners, USA) teach the class to several of our students.  The Sohmer Family has a heart for Evangelism in the City of Boston and that’s exactly where our students went to evangelize last week!

Our students along with JRHS Bible Teacher, Mr. Matt Hannan, set forth on a mission last Wednesday in Boston to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a diverse group of men and women that were made in His image.  They approached people with genuine care and concern as they passed out more than 1,000 gospel tracts!  Mark Sohmer testifies that our JRHS students were outstanding and courageous.  He added that our group was one of the most encouraging groups he has had the pleasure to work with and that certainly blesses us to know that God has put a great group of JRHS students together to do His work to further the Kingdom.

Thank you to our students (Amanda, Kristen, Ryan, Ellie, and Melissa) who stepped out of their comfort zones to take the offered Evangelism Class. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ to everyone you encountered that day and we pray that you continue to minister the Gospel message to those who God calls on your heart to be a witness to.

We appreciate Mark Sohmer for teaching and leading our group of students.  We pray blessings on you and your family as you continue to teach and lead others into evangelism ministry, and also blessings for the great work that you are doing to bring the message of Jesus Christ to a world that desperately needs Him.
