JRHS Demonstrates Post & Beam Project at the 2017 NH Farm & Forest Expo

Last weekend, a group of JRHS students, alumni and faculty along with our Headmaster, Jeff Philbrick, participated in the Annual NH Farm & Forest Expo at the Radisson in Manchester, NH.

It was a great opportunity for our school to demonstrate our Post and Beam project to hundreds of spectators and the Governor of NH, Chris Sununu.  Our Timber Frame group is currently building an Adirondack Shelter for Camp Shiloh in Jefferson, NH.  Last fall, our students and faculty attended the Fall Mountain Retreat at Camp Shiloh and had a blessed time there in the Lord.

A huge “shout out” to all of our volunteers who worked hard and represented Jesse Remington High School well at the expo!  We would like to thank Joel Whitlock (Alumni), Caleb Harris (Alumni), Dan Burgher (Outdoor Education Director), Susan Wilderman (Faculty), Jacob Samuelson (Faculty), Kurt Crawford (Parent Volunteer), and the following students; Jon, Lukas, Luke, Curtis, Marcus, Cristian, Jacob, Mike, Mason, and Ellie.  Thanks again for taking time on a weekend to support our school and represent it proudly. We appreciate all that you do!
