Mr. Ed Whitman
Experience: "I was a General Practitioner Pastor for three churches over many years in IL, NY and NH. During the last ten years I served five churches in NH, ME and MA as an Intentional Interim Pastor. Now I continue a long service to my denomination (Conservative Congregational Christian Conference) doing credentials work and attending activities on the Board of Directors. Graduated from Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary."
Family: Married to Sandy, high school sweetheart. Together they have two children and seven grandchildren.
Interests: "I have always been very interested in ministry with teenagers, serving at Camp Fireside near Rochester, Campus Life in Capital Area of NY, Young Life activities near Chicago, Crossroads Youth Alliance on Cape Cod, The A Team in Barrington and Wilderness Camp here in Candia. Sandy and love to travel and host grand-children. I love classical music, Lake Wobegon stories, UNH Hockey, westerns, the Red Sox and the writings of PG Wodehouse."
How do you see JRHS impacting the students for their lives ahead? “JRHS gives students real time opportunities to become true followers of Jesus, of Whom Scripture says: Jesus matured, growing up in both body and spirit, blessed by both God and people. I have seen that growing/happening over the five years it has been my privilege to serve on the Board. Many of our graduates are already living examples of the mission of our school of Christ.”
