About Anna Shalda

Anna Shalda is a dedicated girls basketball coach with six seasons of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Anna and her husband, Duncan, met in college and were married in May 2020. Their first child, Simon, was born on November 8, 2023. In her free time, Anna enjoys hiking, spending quality time with her family, and taking care of plants. She highly recommends this inspirational book, I've Seen the End of You which delves into the life of a neurosurgeon specializing in GBM tumors, a condition without a cure. He writes about how he can still serve a God who can also take away life and how he works through the hardest parts of life in the medical field.  Interestingly, Anna has a bachelor's degree in Viola Performance from Houghton College, and then earned her RN from Quinnipiac University.  She works as a nurse in the cardiac ICU, where she plays a crucial role helping patients recover from open heart surgery.
