Louise Xu is an International student from China.  This is her first year attending Jesse Remington High School. The greatest aspect of this school that she has valued has been the support and encouragement from all of her new friends as she has adjusted to the community and workload. She recalls the significant increase in workload and expectations she has to adjust to coming to JRHS compared to her earlier years in the US.  She will remember the love and support that she has received from everyone during the year. Many of us will remember her joyous, caring and giving nature, always complete with a smile and a great attitude.

A big accomplishment for Louise this year was attempting, and succeeding, to play on the basketball team. Having not played before, she grew so much, and enjoyed it all the way. In addition to the physical fitness it offered, she also loved the camaraderie the team offered. Louis exhibited her artistic side to us all this year in art classes, and mostly with her photography and videography. She and her classmates made several wonderful school videos this year.

Louis welcomed her Mom and Dad to JRHS for graduation day and a few days after. She was blessed to share her school experience with them, and to show them her new friends and family.

Once she graduates, she plans to attend the University of New Hampshire for finance and accounting. Louise finds rest in John 3:20-21 which proclaims, “For everyone who does wicked things, hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.  But whoever does what is true, comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
