Vibrant Christian Community
When asking students and parents alike, "What one word would you use to describe JRHS?" the answer is consistently community.

Both our program and our campus are designed around Christian community. Project classes and Outdoor Education From the Rivendell Pavilion to the Sentinel, at lunchtime and after school you will find conversation, activity, and friendship.

Points of View
What I love best at JRHS is the close-knit community that develops through classroom and project experiences, outdoor education, and mission trips. I have friends in every grade, which doesn't happen at other schools. I have been mentored by older students and have the opportunity to mentor younger students.
We have a unified student body that feels like family.

Meredith, Class of 2026
With two graduates and one current student, I can confidently say JRHS has been a huge blessing to our family! The small classes, close relationships with the faculty and staff, and the challenging curriculum, all while focusing on their understanding of Christ has helped my children grow to be confident in their skills and knowledge and ability to tackle life, both in and out of HS. I most love that their approach involves the student with engaging and skill building project classes and immersive education, not just teaching to the test. I highly recommend JRHS as a great school and community to partner with you and your high schooler!
