Kathy Carlson

As the Director of Admissions, Kathy’s main duties are to guide families through the admissions process as well as promote the school. She is aided by many years of experience in sales and marketing in the medical device industry.

Kathy and her husband, Carl, have been blessed with four children, all of whom have been or are JRHS students: Sam, (Class of 2022), Tim (Class of 2024), Andrew (Class of 2026), and Elizabeth (Class of 2028). Kathy and Carl have also had the privilege of hosting two international students, Austin from South Korea and Steven from China, both of whom have brought joy to their household.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing games, cooking, gardening, hiking, making jewelry, and playing the guitar. She is a devoted reader of the Bible and strives to find time for other books as well.

One of her favorite Bible verses is Psalm 63:2:4 “I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.”
