Celebrating Excellence: Carter Martens Receives the Timothy Award

By Cheryl Crawford, Administrator

ree

We were thrilled to celebrate Carter Martens at the 2025 Granite State Christian School Association Banquet as he received the Timothy Award, recognizing a young Christian educator who demonstrates faith, leadership, and excellence early in their career.

Carter came to Jesse Remington fresh out of Elmira College, ready to fully invest in our mission of raising this generation to be effective leaders for Jesus Christ. His passion for science is contagious, inspiring students through creative labs, model cell projects, and hands-on learning experiences. He also connects with students in everyday moments—whether through board games at lunch, martial arts, or outdoor adventures—building meaningful relationships that extend into the classroom.

Beyond teaching, Carter leads with humility and dedication. He guides devotions, manages tech goals, and is even pursuing a Master’s of Theology degree. His servant’s heart, energy, and love for Christ shine through in all he does.

It was a joy to celebrate Carter’s accomplishment with his proud parents, Audrey and Eric Martens, fellow educators, and our guest speaker, Scott Barron. Congratulations, Carter Martens!
