The highlight of today was our international church experience. We joined our friends at Iglesia Argentina for their regular Sunday service, stepping into a beautiful expression of the global Church. For some, this may feel familiar—but for others, it was something entirely new: a bilingual gathering where cultures came together for a few sacred hours to pray, study Scripture, and share in fellowship.
Even without a shared spoken language, the unity in Christ was unmistakable. It was a powerful reminder that the grace of God transcends words. Our students were fully engaged, each taking on a role, and our music group had the privilege of leading worship in both English and Spanish—a moment that felt especially meaningful.

One of the ideas we brought with us was a way to bless the children, and with the help of the missionaries, The Fiesta came to life. Picture nearly 70 children, as excited as Christmas morning, diving into games, activities, and, of course, the highlight—a piñata bursting with joy. The love and enthusiasm shared between our students and the children created unforgettable moments.
We wrapped up the afternoon by cleaning up six billion candy wrappers, stacking chairs together, and heading out for a well-earned late lunch—grateful, full, and deeply encouraged by all we had experienced.

I admired how passionate the pastor was when he was preaching. He taught about discernment and brought up very important points, particularly how not every action looks godly yet are truly from God. We need to discern if what we are doing and what others are doing for us is actually from God. The topic made an amazing conversation to have when we got back. But before we got back we had a big party for all the kids there; we had cake, piñata, and music. It was beautiful to see the kids have ear to ear smiles as that show off how much candy they got. I pray that we were able to make a Godly impact that lasts a lifetime for them.

Today we had an eventful Sunday with the morning starting with a church service. It was truly eye opening to see the different ways we go about worshiping God. After church we had a fiesta where we had fun dancing and made food for the kids and people of the church. Later in the day we went out for surfing lessons. I did not do them but still had fun swimming in the crazy waves. From the people who went surfing, I heard they really enjoyed meeting the instructors and learning how to surf. Overall today was a nice relaxing day to enjoy the Lord’s creation and experience the world he has given us.
