Senior Spotlight: Jacob Carlson

Jacob Carlson has spent the last four years growing and learning at Jesse Remington High School. His favorite class was Maple Sugaring, where he enjoyed spending afternoons outdoors and making lasting memories with classmates at the sugar shack. The teamwork required in the class taught him valuable lessons in patience and gave him a deeper appreciation for others.

One of Jake’s most memorable experiences at JRHS was during a mission trip to Detroit, where he and Aidan created a homemade mini-golf course—an example of his creativity and love for hands-on projects.

Jake describes the Class of 2025 as laid-back and adaptable, qualities he deeply values in his peers.

A Bible verse that resonates strongly with Jake is 1 Corinthians 16:13: “Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong.” This verse reflects his steady and courageous character.

Looking ahead, Jake plans to pursue a career in welding.
