About Linda Krewson
Linda Krewson is a stained glass teacher who specializes in instructing students in the art of stained glass. Her lessons cover various techniques such as cutting, grinding, copper foiling, and soldering ornaments, sun catchers, and small window panels framed in zinc. In addition to practical skills, Linda also incorporates discussions on the history of stained glass and famous glass artists. For more experienced students, she provides the opportunity to explore their creativity by designing their own window patterns.
Linda has been teaching stained glass for approximately 15 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from Boston University. Apart from her teaching role, Linda is actively involved in various community activities. She has served as the past treasurer and recording secretary for the Bedford Women's Club. Additionally, she has dedicated her time as a Sunday School teacher, a monitor for a land conservation organization and a book club Chair.
In her personal life, Linda has been happily married for 20 years. Her hobbies include travel, hiking, biking, reading, working in stained glass, and watercolor painting. Some of her favorite books are: Their Eyes Were Watching God , A Gentleman from Moscow, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo and The Baker’s Secret.
Linda's passion for teaching stems from her desire to be an effective teacher and mentor to her students. She believes in empowering them to express themselves through the art of stained glass. Additionally, she enjoys seeing the students grow in emotional and spiritual maturity as they persevere through the challenges and rewards of working with glass. Outside of her teaching career, Linda has also accomplished a personal feat of climbing 35 of New Hampshire's 48 peaks over 4,000 feet.
