In the Drawing and Fine Arts project class, students are challenged through different mediums. One day, they may work with pencils and draw fruit, and the next, they may work with paints and capture nature found outside their classroom! While in class, students are challenged to see the different natural angles and shapes in various objects. By doing this, they are able to appreciate the perfection of God’s creation; seeing what was always there, divinely created since the beginning. Students also learn new skills that may challenge them at first. However, they are given the opportunity to create without fear. No matter the results, they try to produce work to the best of their abilities, and glorify God in the process. According to the students, the most interesting lesson they've learned has been recognizing the smaller shapes that form larger ones in order to draw more effectively. They also enjoy having some say in what they draw, which makes the class more engaging and enjoyable.
