Faculty Focus: Carter Martens and the Winter Enrichment Program

The second round of our Winter Enrichment program was a huge success! Thirteen students in grades 6–9 enjoyed time on our beautiful campus while learning new skills such as martial arts, painting, drama, and, for the first time ever, cinematography. This was an especially exciting project, as students participated in every layer of producing a parody news broadcast—from script writing and scene development to acting and filming.

Students also enjoyed classic activities like the crowd-favorite game Mafia, sledding and other outdoor adventures, as well as plenty of board games and fellowship. A special shout-out to Sheridan Knecht and Andy Locke for helping ensure our chapels ran smoothly with worship and Scripture reading.

If you missed this round, you definitely won’t want to miss the next one this summer!
