On a lovely June day, the JRHS Community gathered in the Sanctuary of the Candia Congregational Church to participate in the essential rite of passage – the graduation of the Class of 2024!
The Seniors enjoyed the important yet emotional time of leaving behind some of adolescence and stepping into the young adult world. After the traditional Pomp and Circumstance march, Pastor Steven Baker began the proceedings with a welcome and prayer. Headmaster Philbrick celebrated the faculty, staff, board and other leaders who contributed to the growth of the Seniors. School Bible teacher Matt Hannan offered this year’s Commencement Address. The important center of a JRHS Graduation is the testimony of the class itself, carefully built by the testimony of each student. At 11:30am on Saturday June 15, the Senior class of 2024 tossed the tassel, officially becoming our newest alumni! We ask for God’s blessing and guidance upon their next steps.
