JRHS supports local ministries with Gala proceeds

Writer: Jeff PhilbrickJeff Philbrick

This year's  2nd annual Christmas Gala was an incredible night of fellowship, food, family, and fun! The purpose of the Gala project class is to train a group of students in event planning, budgeting, professional communication, and speaking skills. This year, the group additionally put on a JRHS chapel service that was well attended by family, friends and townspeople. Every year we raise money for local ministries as a way to show the value of supporting local ministries in the greater NH church. This year, half of our proceeds went to Real Options Pregnancy Help Services which seeks to provide care for young women with unexpected pregnancies. The other half went to Adult and Teen Challenge which seeks to rehabilitate men coming out of drug and alcohol addiction. We believe in supporting the cause of life from the preborn all the way to those needing a new life in Christ at a later time of life. We are so grateful for the support of everyone who attended and gave towards these two ministries. We cannot wait for next year!
