What do you love about JRHS and why?

I love that my daughter has such amazing support from all the teachers. They take the time to support and encourage her with her assignments, and they are willing to be involved with her growth, both academically and spiritually. Because the school is so small, they can see when she is struggling and provide help right away. 

Why did you choose JRHS for your child?

We chose this school because our daughter needed something small and cohesive. She also needed to be more academically challenged. The layout of the school also appealed to us as it's so different from other schools. Our daughter is able to get outside between classes, and is able to socialize with other classes during lunch and project classes. The campus and community are so warm and welcoming!

What expected and unexpected growth have you seen in your JRHS students?

The most unexpected growth we've seen in our daughter since she's become a student is that she went from being shy and isolated to being open and willing to participate. The teachers seem to know just how to gently push her outside her comfort zone, but as a result, she has become more independent, which has built up her confidence.

What would you tell other parents to encourage them to consider enrolling their children at JRHS?

I would encourage other families to reach out and talk with the administration about what your family needs are! The school has been very flexible with us and willing to work with our daughter's academic needs. This is, again, something that sets them apart from other schools! 

I would also recommend JRHS to families who are looking for a school that aligns with their biblical parenting. There is a continuity of our standards within the school, and the faculty and staff reinforce what is being taught in our home.
