Maple Sugaring: Learning from the Professionals

In these last few quiet days before the sugar starts to run in our Candia area trees, the JRHS Maple Sugaring Team invested an afternoon at a local sugar house, gleaning wisdom and experience from Mr. Ken St.Pierre at Big Lake Maple. Ken owns the same equipment that we have just purchased and installed. He gave us a “start to finish” tutorial of each component. By adding knowledge to our desire, we now have more confidence in our ability to best use the new equipment. Thank you Ken!
