Despite the gray skies and steady drizzle, our Jesse Remington High School community showed up in full force for the Real Options Walk for Life! Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and even the littlest future Sentinel walked together with joy and determination—umbrellas in hand and hearts full of purpose.

We are thrilled to share that we raised $1,210 to support Real Options and their life-affirming work with women, babies, and families in our region. The weather may have been uncooperative, but it didn’t dampen our spirit. Our group brought laughter, encouragement, and a sense of unity to a rainy day.
This event reminded us that being a light in the world sometimes looks like simply showing up—soaked socks and all—to stand for what truly matters.
We’re also celebrating another special moment: JRHS student Skye Michelson was recognized as a prize winner in the Real Options Essay Contest! His tribute to his youth pastor, titled “The Value of One Life,” was selected as one of the top submissions—a powerful reflection on the difference one life can make.
Thank you to everyone who supported this event! Let’s keep walking, writing, and living for life—together. We hope you’ll join us next year!
