Rainy Day Golf: JRHS Outdoor Ed Elective Takes it Indoors at Golf X

The Spring Golf Outdoor Education elective ended last week with a rewarding outing at Golf X in Bedford. The students have been training in April and May at the Candia Woods practice facility, and the plan was to enjoy 9 Holes at the Labelle Winery Par 3 course in Derry. Well, a cold and rainy day caused us to make a quick pivot, but one surely to please. The students enjoyed 9 holes at "Pebble Beach" Club on the simulators at Golf X. The students benefited greatly from the numerous data points the simulators provide, each player making great strides in their game. We give thanks to this years coaches: Duncan Shalda, Tom Rairdon, Steve Baker and Bess Deacon for making the spring enjoyable and worthwhile.
