Senior Capstone Project: Original Children’s Storybook by Meredith Higgins

For my senior capstone project, I created an original children’s storybook titled Benny Bear and the Broken Branch, fully written and illustrated by hand with watercolor artwork. This project allowed me to grow in both writing and painting, fulfilling my childhood desire to craft a story of my own. I centered the book on Biblical themes of forgiveness, compassion, and reconciliation, weaving them into a narrative that points children toward Christ.
