Although only at JRHS for 2 years, Sophia has gained so much from this experience! She has added to the student body her encouraging spirit and joyful attitude about learning! Her favorite project class was Maple Sugaring due to being able to go outside and be in nature, and make a special product that other people can enjoy. Sophia says, “Being at the sugar shack is also something that is so fun and unique due to the fact that during boils we can make pancakes and have fun in fellowship with each other.” Sophia loved to be around other students from different grades that she normally would not have the chance to spend time with.
Some of her favorite memories include the Fall Mountain Retreat junior year, specifically with her small hiking group up Mount Washington. Sophia recounts, “This was so much fun as I was new to the school and we all had a lot of fun in the smaller group having fun while we climbed up later!”
Sophia would describe the class of 2025 as supportive and fun. We are “always up to have a fun time, and we always have each other’s backs if it is needed.” A guiding Scripture for her life is 1 Corinthians 16:14 which says, “Let all that you do be done in love” In the next two years, Sophia will be joining the National Air Force. She will leave for Lackland, Texas this summer to attend basic training. After graduation, she will attend technical school where she will study Advanced Fighter Aircraft Integrated Avionics.
