For the past three years, the JRHS boys basketball team has competed in two leagues: the New Hampshire Small Private School Athletic League (NHSPSAL) and the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). In the NHSPSAL regular season, the team remained undefeated and capped it off with a championship victory over Mt. Zion on Saturday, March 7.

The road to victory in the CYO league was not quite as smooth. The team had a slow start as the roster dynamic shifted from last year following the graduation of key seniors and the late return of a junior. As a result, we were placed in the second division. From that point on, however, the team did not lose another game, finishing with a championship win against Ste. Maries at NHTI on Friday, March 6.
Heading into the season there were many question marks, but through perseverance and teamwork the players rose to the challenge, overcoming early obstacles to capture two championships in 2026.
Special thanks to Coach Doug Langlois, for pouring into us all season in terms of training, time, effort, and always expecting our best. Thanks also to our Assistant Coaches Will Deacon (Class of 2014) and Tim Carlson (Class of 2024) for your wisdom and encouragement! We couldn’t achieve any of this without all of you!
