Each year, JRHS brings Project-Based Learning to life with a full-scale stage production. Last spring, students delivered a charming and heartfelt adaptation of Little Women. The year before, they took on the wit and whimsy of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with boldness and imagination. This spring, our drama crew turns its talents to G. K. Chesterton’s The Surprise.
The cast is deep in the craft, shaping scenes and refining movement as they bring Act II to life. Lines are shedding their scripts and settling into memory, thanks to focused work over February Break. The result? Growing confidence, sharper timing, and characters that feel fully awake on stage.

Under the spirited direction of Mr. Ouellette, students are stretching into their roles with energy and intention. Rehearsals hum with purpose as each scene clicks more tightly into place.
Mark your calendars and join us for an evening of wit and wonder!
Curtain: 7:00 PM Friday, May 15 Saturday, May 16 at Candia Congregational Church (1 South Road, Candia).
