Girls Basketball 2026 Season Wrap Up

This basketball season was a great success! At the beginning we only had four girls willing to play. However, as a community we worked hard and recruited nine girls to join the team. This allowed us to have a fun and fruitful season! 

Despite having almost a completely new team, we came out strong, only losing one game during the season. By the time we reached the playoffs, Coach Anna and Coach Bess worked very hard to have us prepared to play against much improved opponents. We played as the number one seed against Saint Marie's number four seed. Securing this win allowed us to play in the Championship against Crossroads. Winning the Championship was a wonderful reward for our JRHS Sentinel girls. This was the first championship win for the seniors throughout their four years at Jesse!
