Fall Semester Portfolios are underway!

ree

You may be asking, “What are portfolios?!” A portfolio is a series of work, papers, tests, and presentations, completed by each student as a culmination of the semester’s work. During portfolio season, regular classes pause, giving students dedicated time to prepare for exams and complete their portfolio pieces under the guidance and feedback of their teachers.

This process helps students build time-management skills, set priorities, and take ownership of their learning through reflection and goal-setting. It also allows teachers to assess understanding and provide feedback. Portfolios allow students to see their academic progress over the course of their high school education and build skills for coping well in the high-pressure situations they will encounter in their adult lives.

Let’s pray for our students as they work hard to finish up strong!!
