This spring JRHS students will have mission opportunities to grow in faith and serve Christian communities. These trips provide unique experiences tailored to diverse skills and gifts, while reflecting the heart of Christ’s mission: to love and serve others.

Philadelphia, PA – The Philly ProjectFor students who love hands-on work, this trip offers the chance to repair homes and serve in mercy ministries like food pantries in North Philadelphia. Partnering with The Philly Project, participants will forge meaningful connections with those they serve, embodying Christ’s love through practical help. This trip is ideal for students ready to work hard and care deeply for others.

Guatemala – Christ For the City InternationalStudents proficient in Spanish or eager to learn will find this trip especially rewarding. In Guatemala, they’ll engage in ministries like teaching English, running soccer camps, leading music outreach, and engaging in evangelism. This mission emphasizes “bringing hope to the hopeless” through varied and impactful ministries. This cross cultural experience is perfect for students ready to stretch their language skills and faith.

Hungary – Supporting Local ChurchesFor students who thrive on personal connection and cultural experiences, the Hungary trip involves serving with local churches in Kiskőrös and Győr where many a Jesse student has served before. Participants will share testimonies, lead programs for all age groups, and live with host families. A servant’s heart is essential, as love and service may be needed to transcend language barriers.
Each of these trips presents a life-changing opportunity to grow spiritually, build community, and share the Gospel in impactful ways. Whether serving locally or globally, JRHS students come away from the mission experience challenged to grow in their personal commitment to Christ, and share what they have learned with the christian community surrounding them here in New Hampshire.
